Eventually, the boxes unveil an invitation to Miles' Greek island for a getaway, accompanied by a game to unravel the mystery of his own murder. Among the invited guests are:

Just like its title suggests, Glass Onion is layered, yet transparent, with a clear meaning. You need to watch it attentively: this movie is about empty vessels that make the most noise, and the villains are those who have always harboured malicious intentions.


The point that this film aims to convey is indeed that simple. However, this simplicity is adorned with numerous marvellous elements, much like the nonsensical conversations we often hear in modern life.


You can witness the empty words of company founders about changing the world. Not to mention the false promises of politicians, the lies of influencers, pretentious ignorant artists trying to sound smart, and hypocritical scientists. They truly don't prioritize humanity; it's all about power and money.


It doesn't go beyond that. Forget about changing the world. The ones who truly change the world in a positive way are those who work quietly behind the scenes, without much talk.


In contrast to the first film, although the characters (or suspects) in this movie are also super wealthy, they are "new money". The wealthy individuals in the first film were "old money", who tended to be reserved and spoke little.
