With proven durability and increasingly advanced digital innovation, Casio consistently creates watches that meet all people's criteria. Standard Casio is suitable for accompanying both indoor and outdoor activities. The Casio Standard Collection is one of Casio's best-selling collections.

The Casio CA-53W Databank, introduced in 1988 as a successor to the Casio Databank CA-50, is an all-plastic/rubber watch. It is as stylish as you would expect a calculator on your wrist would be, and there is a newer version with a sleeker design that you can buy.

But even still, a calculator watch will never look classy-cocktail-style-ishhhh; But it can still look good! The Casio CA-53W Databank calculator is a small, eight-digit wearable calculator from the late 1980s. The design is simple and intuitive, so most people learn how to use it pretty quickly. It comes with various useful features, which are as follows:

  • 8-digit calculator that supports Addition (+), Subtraction (-), Multiplication (x or ⋅), and Division (÷) (It can also do negative numbers)

  • Dual time (meaning if you push the mode button twice you get a second time)

  • 1/100-second stopwatch Elapsed time, split time, 1st-2nd place times

  • Daily alarm

  • Hourly time signal

  • Full auto-calendar (to the year 2099)

  • 12/24-hour format

  • Button operation tone on/off

Dubbed the Marty McFly, this watch encapsulates everyone's inner nerd and will appeal to anyone who is a big fan of the Back to the Future movie trilogy.

*P.S: This watch's time/reading is in 24h Format. (Military time format)

Pros:

  • Back in the 80s/90s, It cost REALLY EXPENSIVE. Now, it is very very very affordable. :D (For this price, it's worth it for collecting. It's just a fun timepiece!)

  • Definitely, this watch makes a great conversation starter. It's a nerd thing. (Don't get me wrong, I'm nerdy as well :D..)

  • Calculator on your wrist!

Cons:

  • Functionality is not this watches strong suite, as we all have phones that do it better.

  • No backlight

  • Despite it has no problem when worn under the rain, It is not an ideal companion to take for water activities such as diving or swimming.
